Don't Miss the TASA/TASB Legislative Conference!

02.08.2019 — Seats are filling fast for the TASA/TASB Legislative Conference February 26 at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol. During the daylong conference, trustees and administrators will hear Capitol insiders’ insights on the 86th legislative session. TASA and TASB staff will provide updates on legislative happenings and proposed bills to prepare attendees to meet with legislators and their staffers later that day at the Capitol.

  • TAMSA's Dr. Theresa Trevino and Raise Your Hand Texas' Dr. Michelle Smith on recent public perception polls conducted by each organization

School board members will earn board-training credit for attending the training.

The conference is free; however, preregistration is required and limited to TASA and TASB members (space is limited). Find registration information.

Participants should schedule Capitol meetings with their legislators/staff for the afternoon of February 26 prior to coming to Austin for the conference.
