House Concurs with Senate Version of HB 21, Adjourns Sine Die Early

08.15.2017 — This afternoon, after expressing his disappointment with the Senate’s changes to HB 21, House Public Education Committee Chair Dan Huberty concurred with the changes rather than sending the bill to conference committee, stating it was necessary to secure critical provisions including funding for TRS-Care. After two hours of debate, the House voted 94 to 46 to pass the bill, sending it to the governor.
