AUSTIN– The Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) announced today the creation of the TASA Innovation Zone to debut at its Midwinter Conference in January 2014.

The TASA Innovation Zone will provide an opportunity for company representatives to share promising, early-stage educational products and services with experienced school district leaders for a full exchange of thoughts and ideas.

Both businesses and educators will benefit from this process, providing school district leaders with a preview of cutting edge innovations and companies with meaningful input and guidance from practitioners in the field.

"TASA is in a unique position to bring business and education innovators together," said Johnny Veselka, TASA Executive Director. "The Innovation Zone will link business and education leaders in a program engineered to build our next generation of educational products and services." This initiative is consistent with TASA's mission to transform Texas public schools.
