  • Register On-Site at UT/TASA Summer Conference
    Online registration is closed for the 2019 UT/TASA Summer Conference on Education, to be held in Austin June 23-25, but you can still register on-site. Do so as early as 7 a.m., Sunday, June 23, so you don’t miss the optional preconference organized by TALAS ($75 for TALAS members; $150 for non-members), or the legislative update to be given during the first general session at 3 p.m. Learn more.

  • New Professional Development Offering! Budget Cohort for Texas District Leaders
    TASA has joined with TASB and TASBO to offer comprehensive budget development training for school district teams that starts this fall! The training is designed to allow your district to better utilize its finance and business functions to support and enhance other areas, including curriculum and instruction, human resources, and special programs, so your superintendent, chief financial officer, and chief curriculum officer should attend together. The 2019-20 cohort will meet throughout the school year both online and at TASA, TASB, and TASBO events. The first online training is scheduled for August. Register today!

  • Register Now for 2019-20 CMAT and Curriculum Workshops
    TASA will offer Level 1 and 2 Curriculum Management Audit Training (CMAT) at TASA Headquarters in Austin during the 2019-20 school year as well as a Curriculum Writing Workshop and Curriculum Management Planning Workshop. Learn more.

2020 Midwinter Conference Announcements

  • July 15: Deadline for 2020 TASA Midwinter Conference Concurrent Session Proposals
    It's time to submit concurrent session proposals for the 2020 TASA Midwinter Conference, to be held January 26-29 in Austin! New: TASA is using the Session Selector process. Potential presenters submit proposals for sessions May 15-July 15. Attendees review them August 1-15 and vote on the sessions they’re interested in attending. Learn more.

    TASA's Corporate Partner Program

    TASA's Corporate Partner Program gives companies that do business with schools ongoing recognition and visibility through a choice of event/advertising packages, ranging from $10,000 to $40,000.
