  • Get Legislative Updates at UT/TASA Summer Conference
    The 2019 UT/TASA Summer Conference will be held June 23-25 in downtown Austin. In addition to a legislative update from the TASA Governmental Relations staff, Commissioner of Education Mike Morath is scheduled to speak on the implications of the 86th session, and TASBO staff will walk attendees through HB 3.   • Book Housing by July 16 for Session 1 of 2019-20 First-Time Superintendents Academy
    The 2019-20 FTSA was designed around the most important learning outcomes for first- and second-year superintendents. In Session 1, to be held July 31-August 1, beginning superintendents will learn strategies for gaining a better understanding of the dynamics of their new districts, including the logistics of working with their school boards and assessing their districts’ financial situations. Participants will also connect with mentors and formulate a plan for the first 90 days of the school year. Register today!

  • Register Today for TASA's Academy for Transformational Leadership in Georgetown
    The Academy for Transformational Leadership (ATL) will be hosted again in Georgetown ISD for 2019-20. The academy includes four two-day sessions to be held in September and November 2019 and January and March 2020. Who should attend? 2020 Midwinter Conference Announcements

  • July 15: Deadline for 2020 TASA Midwinter Conference Concurrent Session Proposals
    It's time to submit concurrent session proposals for the 2020 TASA Midwinter Conference, to be held January 26-29 in Austin! New: TASA is using the Session Selector process. Potential presenters submit proposals for sessions May 15-July 15. Attendees review them August 1-15 and vote on the sessions they’re interested in attending. Learn more.
