Texas Assessment Conference

2017 Assessment Conference Registration Information

  • Register online in the TASA Member Services Center. As in previous years, there are two registration options, each with fees based on registration date, as well as optional preconference workshops and related meetings/events. To expedite the online registration process, please review the following options before registering.

    Option 1 — Texas Assessment Conference Registration

    Early-bird Registration (August 3 through September 15, 2017) — $125

    Preregistration (September 16, 2017, through October 20, 2017) — $145

    On-site Registration (Online registration closes midnight, October 20, 2017) — $195

    Option 2 — Alternative Registration for TACTP Members and Other Collegiate Personnel
    Registration for Option 2 designates you as a TACTP / Collegiate attendee, which will be printed on your badge. NEW THIS YEAR: The Monday, November 6, TACTP Business Meeting and Luncheon will require purchasing a separate ticket, available through the online reigstration process. On November 5, there will be a President’s Reception for TACTP members only. (Register for TACTP membership on the TACTP website.)

Preconference Workshops

  • The preconference workshop registration fee is $50. Registrants have the choice of attending preconference workshops on Monday, November 6, 8:30-11:30 a.m. Preconference workshops have limited seating. Be prepared to select an alternative workshop if your first or second choice is full when you register.

TSNAP Luncheon

  • TSNAP's Luncheon Session is scheduled on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 (11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.), at the Hilton Austin. This seated luncheon and session includes the annual TSNAP Membership Meeting; membership awards; and best practice for assessments from district testing coordinators from around the state.

    If you wish to join TSNAP, please access the online TSNAP membership application. NOTE: Luncheon seating is limited to 500 paid attendees.

TACTP Business Luncheon

  • The TACTP Business Luncheon is scheduled on Monday, November 6, 2017 (11:30 a.m. - 1p.m.) at the Hilton Austin.  This seated luncheon will include the annual TACTP Business Meeting.

    TACTP Business Luncheon Pre-Registration (September 1, 2017 - October 20, 2017) - $45

TAC Cancellation/Refund Policy

  • A $75 cancellation fee applies to all conference registrations; if only a Preconference is cancelled, the cancellation fee is $25. Cancellations must be received in writing by October 20, 2017. There will be no refunds for no-shows. Substitutions may be made in advance or on-site by calling the TASA office, 512-477-6361. Conference sponsors reserve the right to cancel all or portions of the conference if minimum registration is not met. If the conference is cancelled, registrants will be notified seven (7) working days prior to the conference, and a full refund will be issued. If you plan to register on-site, please contact TASA in advance to avoid incurring travel expenses for a cancelled conference. TASA recommends that you do not purchase a nonrefundable airline ticket. If you choose to purchase a nonrefundable ticket, you are responsible for all terms and conditions.
