Join Our Circle of Support!
Since its inception in 1925, TASA has actively pursued its goal of promoting excellence in public elementary and secondary education in the state of Texas. The association's programs and services over the years have enhanced the lives of thousands of school administrators and the students they serve. In December 1991, in accordance with the TASA constitution allowing special categories of sustaining membership, TASA initiated its Circle of Support.
Who's Eligible: Active and associate members who would like to become part of a select group that recognizes the importance of developing and sustaining the association as a pre-eminent advocate for public education.
Fee: $100 (in addition to regular membership fee)
Demonstrates members' personal support for the association and its mission through the annual additional contribution of $100—above and beyond normal TASA dues
Actively enhances TASA's ability to strengthen its programs and services to better meet the diverse professional needs of all TASA members
Provides special recognition for members of this select group
Helps strengthen TASA's development fund, since its initial goal of retiring debt on the TASA Headquarters Building was accomplished in 2005; principal is retained in a permanent fund and interest earnings are used for special projects and activities designated by the Executive Committee
Ensures that the professional programs and services of TASA continue to address the challenges facing Texas school administrators
If you are joining TASA or renewing your current membership, please consider selecting Sustaining Membership in addition to regular TASA membership on the Membership tab in TASA's Member Services Center.
