Building a Culture of Confidence in the Face of Anti-Public Education Sentiment
The Administrative Leadership Institute (ALI), which dates back to 1908, has been called "the best 24-hour conference in Texas” by leaders in Texas public education and higher education. Each November, the annual conference focuses on a critical issue to help school leaders transform schools to better ensure all children can become successful students and people.

ALI is an opportunity for informal interaction and sharing among participants, who attend from school districts across Texas. It is a meeting place for friends and a venue for nationally recognized speakers and experts to re-energize those on the front lines educating Texas youth.

    2017 ALI Focus

The focus of the 2017 ALI is Building a Culture of Confidence in the Face of Anti-Public Education Sentiment. Join us in Aggieland to explore all that Texas public schools truly offer their communities. Gain insight into ways to build confidence in your district leaders, educators, and stakeholders. Network with other districts to share ways to offer real choice to all students. Explore tangible examples to build instructional leadership capacity, and hear from district leaders who partnered to construct compelling, pro-public education messages that reveal the truth behind all that anti-public ed talk. Sessions will include:

    • Crucial Conversations About America’s Schoolskeynote by Dr. John Draper, NSPRA consultant
