2016 School Transformation Network Assessment Summit
TASA, in cooperation with the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA), will host a special summit for members of the TASA School Transformation Network
(STN) and other district leaders interested in next-generation assessment and accountability on November 30
in Central Texas.
At the Summit, superintendents and other school leaders will gain new perspectives on effective practices in student assessment. They will examine the changing role of assessment in our schools, what research tells us about community-based accountability, and what district leaders need to be ready to talk about concerning state and local accountability as it relates to student assessment (including the pitfalls of A-F rating systems).
