Registration Fees

  • Conference registration fees include Saturday breakfast, lunch, and reception, and Sunday breakfast.  Early bird fee cutoff: November 30, 2018.

    Full Conference — Early Bird: $150  •  Regular /Onsite: $175
    Saturday Only — Early Bird: $120  •  Regular / Onsite: $145

    TCWSE Conference registration* takes place through TASA's Member Services Center, their site for membership, subscriptions, and all TASA/TCWSE event registrations.  You will be walked through the log-in process on that page. Once you are in the Member Services Center, click the Events tab and select TCWSE 2019 Conference under Active Conferences / Workshops / Academies.

    * Please note that there is no joint registration fee for the TCWSE Annual Conference and the TASA Midwinter Conference. These are two separate events and need to be registered for separately. [TASA Midwinter Conference webpage]

Conference Housing

  • Housing reservations are coordinated through TASA's Midwinter Conference Housing system with the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau. TCWSE Conference attendees have a special housing link for the Hilton Austin Hotel that includes the nights of Friday, January 25, and Saturday, January 26, as well as the nights of January 27-29 for those staying through for TASA's Midwinter Conference.

    If you prefer to stay at a different hotel, options and details can be found on TASA's Midwinter Conference Housing page beginning at 9 am on Tuesday, October 9. Use the TASA Midwinter Housing link for other hotels. NOTE: The TCWSE Hilton Austin Hotel Housing Link above is ONLY for registrants for the TCWSE Conference. Do not share the link with non-registrants. The housing list will be reviewed periodically and individuals appearing on the list who have not registered for the TCWSE conference will be removed from the block.

TCWSE Cancellation Policy

  • TCWSE Cancellation Policy: Per-individual cancellation fee for the 2019 TCWSE Conference is $50 ($25 for students). All requests must be submitted through the 2019 TCWSE Conference Cancellation / Substitution Request Form. Requests are dated based on the electronic submission date of the form. No hard-copy, faxed, or emailed requests will be accepted.

    The cancellation deadline for this event is: Friday, January 11, 2019. After this date, there will be no refund of registration fees and no-shows will be billed in full with no refund issued; however, substitutions may be made through the online cancellation/substitution form or onsite. Refunds will not be issued until after the TCWSE Conference (January 26-27, 2019).

    TCWSE reserves the right to cancel all or portions of an event if minimum registration targets are not met. If an event is cancelled, registrants will be notified seven (7) working days prior to the workshop/conference and a full refund will be issued.

    TCWSE recommends that you do not purchase nonrefundable airline tickets or make nonrefundable hotel reservations. If you choose to do so, you are responsible for all terms and restrictions.
