Chevron TASA Leadership Forum

  • Every School a STEM School
    October 26, 2017

STEM careers value communications, quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and collaboration. Schools values those same skills, so how can educators work with these skills in new and different ways to better develop STEM-ready students? How can a normal, everyday school be transformed into a STEM education leader? Can we use STEM to improve STEM?

This one-day leadership forum sponsored by Chevron and hosted by TASA will inspire and inform K-12 leaders responsible for building the Houston area's up-and-coming STEM workforce. While Texas offers STEM endorsements, STEM magnets, and STEM choice schools, EVERY graduate needs and deserves STEM skills. Using the science of learning to investigate creativity, communications, analytical thinking and quantitative reasoning, all students become STEM learners.

Come learn about leading STEM learning through data visualization and improving communications skills!
