Become an AASA Member!
With membership in AASA—the American Association of School Administrators—you can access the collected experience, knowledge, influence, and drive of school system leaders nationwide. You'll engage with like-minded professionals, share skill-building resources, and influence decision makers at the highest levels . . . all part of your AASA experience!

The national publications and professional development available to you through AASA membership will enhance your commitment and contribution to your profession. In addition, TASA values its role as AASA's chartered affiliate in Texas. The benefits of professional association membership at the state level are complemented by active participation in the national association.

There are several other reasons why AASA membership is important. AASA's Legal Support Program (LSP) provides financial assistance to AASA active members to help defray legal expenses incurred when members assert their due process rights. Through the Trust for Insuring Educators (TIE) AASA offers excellent insurance programs for your financial protection, including professional and personal, life, and health insurance. A tax-deferred annuity (TDA) program also is available through AASA.

As a special benefit, by joining AASA and TASA (either at the same time you pay your TASA membership dues or by sending your AASA membership form separately), you benefit your state association as well. TASA receives $100 of the AASA membership dues for each first-time member of AASA and $25 for each TASA/AASA joint member—money that TASA uses to enhance our own programs and services to members!
