Goals:  This two-day cutting edge seminar presents the 50 strategies found to have the greatest impact on student achievement. This seminar is suitable for administrators involved in assessing district needs and meeting NCLB requirements. The 50 strategies will energize participants and provide focus on the steps that need to be part of any district or school improvement plan.

Who Facilitates Your Learning:  Elizabeth A. Clark, Ed.D., Lead Auditor
Dr. Elizabeth A. Clark received her bachelor's degree from Southern State College in Magnolia, Arkansas.  Both her Master's and Doctorate degrees are from the University of Arkansas.  She began her teaching career in 1971 and has worked as a teacher, instructional specialist for social studies, dean of students, junior high principal, assistant superintendent, and deputy superintendent for curriculum and instruction in Hallsville ISD and Katy ISD.  She retired in 2009 from Katy ISD as Chief Academic Officer with 39 years of public school service.  Currently, she works part-time as a lecturer for University of Houston at Clear Lake in the College of Education Administration and does consultant work in districts.

Dr. Clark has served in many professional organizations where she has been in key leadership roles.  She has served as president of the Texas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and Texas Council of Women School Executives.  She has also been very active in the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Texas Association of School Administrators.  She has conducted numerous seminars and published articles for state and national publications.  Dr. Clark completed her PDK-CSMI audit training in 1994 and has conducted eight audits.

  A $50 cancellation fee per individual applies ($25 cancellation fee if the registration fee is less than $200) to all workshop/conference registrants. Cancellation requests must be faxed to the TASA office (512-482-8658) at least three (3) working days prior to the conference. No-shows will be billed in full with no refund issued. Substitutions may be made onsite or faxed in advance to TASA. TASA reserves the right to cancel a workshop/conference if minimum registration targets are not met. If the workshop/conference is cancelled, registrants will be notified seven (7) working days prior to the workshop/conference and a full refund will be issued.
